Includes personal and professional correspondence, 1880-1944; notes and drawings for studies of fishes Phylloxera and other zoology sketches; daily journal, 1900, and other diaries and sketches made while Mark was astronomer on U.S. Northern Boundary Survey in 1873; mathematics student notebook, 1868, from Univ. of Michigan; and lecture notes, 1870-1874 (in German) by Mark's professors at Univ. of Leipzig. Some of the correspondence and related records, 1902-1917, relate to Bermuda Biological Station, and also letters, 1937, from former students and colleagues concerning Mark's teaching at Harvard.
